We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievement of the Rijeka-based team at the prestigious Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco under the patronage of Prince Albert II. Members of the Association of Applied Technical Sciences, engineers, and students from the Faculty of Maritime Studies and other faculties of the University of Rijeka, competed in the "Energy" class with their impressive vessel, "Vilson," and secured an outstanding 2nd place among 17 teams from around the world.

The catamaran "Vilson," named after the great-grandfather of one of the team members, measures 4.95 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width. It is powered by an 11 kW motor and draws energy from a 10 kW battery, which the team members built themselves.
These dedicated students and engineers have proven themselves formidable competitors against some of the biggest names in the maritime industry, and we are proud that Kelteks played a role in their success.
