Please introduce us Omnis Kompozit and yourself. We already know that you are in the industry for almost 15 years and you have been distributing over 30 global and top-notch brands. We would love to know more about you and your company and your expertise.
Omnis Composite was established in 2012 with three partners. It is a company established to contribute to Turkiye's growing polymer composite industry with our specialized products and know-how. We have been offering raw materials and machinery systems compatible with high-tech production techniques to the Turkish market since the day we were founded. I personally started in the composites industry in 1991 and increased my knowledge with Şişecam. For more than 30 years, I have continuously improved my knowledge of composite applications and have come to the present day. I still strive with other composite friends and partners for the development of the Turkish composites industry and to become a global player.
How did your partnership with solidian·kelteks begin? Could you share the story behind this collaboration for the Turkish market?
Our partnership with solidian·kelteks started in 2023, when solidian·kelteks opened an office in Izmir, Turkiye. I would like to thank solidian · kelteks Turkiye Office and headquarters team for their great contribution to the formation of such a partnership. As you know; the use of composite materials in the Turkish construction industry has been increasing in the last few years. The fact that our company also plays an active role in the field of building reinforcement, in addition to the products we supply to the composite industry together, has led to the emergence of such a partnership. Working with a company that has proven itself with its quality and service in such a sensitive subject has given us additional strength.
As your partnership expanded from the composites industry to the construction industry, how did you create synergy with solidian·kelteks? What solutions do you offer specifically for the construction and structural reinforcement industry?
As I mentioned, solidian·kelteks, which has multi-specialty products, is one of the important synergies in our growth in the construction industry. We want to ensure that the industry grows in the right way by offering solutions that are not yet known in our country.
What potential do you see in the Turkish market for the composites and construction industries? What are the biggest opportunities and challenges?
We anticipate that the biggest opportunity will be in building retrofitting industry and also in new building constructions. We have embarked on a long journey with a reliable partner for the promotion of our product range and its use in applications. I think we will make a significant contribution to the Turkish construction industry in the near future.
kompozitpazari.com stands out as a significant e-trade platform for the composite and construction industries in Turkiye. What advantages does this platform bring to the industry? Do you have further plans?
kompozitpazari.com is the youngest company in our group of companies. It is a company established during the pandemic period and serving the composite industry on E-Trade with our “From Hobby to Industry” motto, we offer the products that the entire industry will need through this web platform, without any quantity restrictions. Our most important advantage is that our web platform is a great information center, there are technical information about all our products, their usage places and forms. It is a platform where newcomers to the industry will have basic information.
The use of composite materials in the construction industry is rapidly expanding. What initiatives are you undertaking to raise awareness about this in Turkiye?
For the use of composite raw materials and materials in the construction industry, our company participates in fairs, seminars and promotional meetings in Turkiye for promotional purposes. We enlighten the decision makers of the future with our promotional programs especially in the engineering departments of universities.
What is your forecast or thoughts for 2025? Do you have any new plans under your partnership with solidian·kelteks?
Like every year, 2025 will be difficult. Every industry will grow below expectations and the construction industry will also have its share. Under the best conditions, I estimate that there will be a revival in the second half of the year. However, this contraction is not an obstacle for us to promote and enter new projects, our activities in previous years will continue.
Finally, what message would you like to share with professionals in the composites and construction industries in Turkiye?
The more the professional decision-makers of the construction industry learn about the advantages of composite materials in the long term, the more they will be able to guarantee a strong and reliable future for the entire construction industry in Turkiye.
And once again, thank you very much for your visit and this productive interview.
We thank you, very much.
