A Sandwich
wall system
is composed of two concrete layers and an insulation layer, creating a multi-layered wall element that offers excellent thermal performance and structural integrity. We offer a complete system consisting of three components - connectors are made from Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) to eliminate thermal bridges, the reinforcement of the outher shell is mde from Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP).
This system is pending approval from German building authorities (DIBt).
Advantages:
- Reduced resource consumption: Up to 50% reduction in sand, water and cement for the outer concrete layer.
- Improved CO2 Footprint: Up to 30% improvement due to material savings.
- Superior building physics: No thermal bridges due to the use of GFRP for connection systems. These non-corrosive products contribute to the long lifespan of facade elements.
- Lightweight construction: Lower costs and reduced CO2 emissions for transport and easier installation.
- Thinner construction: Enables more office and living space within the same footprint.
By integrating non-metallic reinforcement into sandwich facades, we achieve enhanced thermal performance, structural efficiency and environmental benefits, making it an ideal solution for modern building projects.
